Hard Rock San Juan Opens

Following major damage sustained in Hurricane Maria, the long awaited Hard Rock Café and Rock Shop finally opened for business in mid-August. A ribbon cutting ceremony with Puerto Rico Governor Ricardo Rossello and San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz kicked off the festivities.

PrivCap Investments has been the lead capital partner and played an integral role in the rebuilding and recapitalization of the business over the past year. A grand celebration of the Hard Rock opening, signifying Puerto Rico’s return after Hurricane Maria, took place on October 10th with government officials, Hard Rock International executives and a performance from world renowned Black Eyed Peas star, Taboo. Over 700 VIP guests celebrated the opening and had the opportunity to experience the incredible energy and upbeat vibe that the Hard Rock San Juan will offer to locals and tourists.
